Here you will find the latest DPAA® release download. The latest release includes all prior version changes and patches.
Though we suggest you always update to the latest release, please note our versioning is by date. Please review the release notes to see all the changes in this version, and watch the video to see what's new within new feature (NF) or enhanced (ER) releases. We don't always release videos for ER releases, but if the difference involves usability or outcomes, we likely will.
New users should refer to the system recommendations and installation steps noted below.
If you are an existing user, please follow the process on how to upgrade below.
Please use the Contact Us page to schedule a demo, a Zoom learning session, or to obtain your license. New users are entitled to a limited trial period to ensure DPAA® meets your expectations.

A must watch for getting started with DPAA®
The way DPAA® manages appliances is essential to your success.
A system with at least:
You are not required to install the full Java JDK for DPAA® to work, but you must have at least Open JDK (or JRE) or Oracle JRE 18 or above. You can download the OpenJDK JRE and just unpack it into a directory. If you have any questions about this process, please go to the Features & Tutorials page and schedule a meeting with us.
Once you have Java either installed or a JRE unpacked into a directory, you can either:
It is highly advised to schedule a technical support session with Kumba Software LLC to interactively help you get started.
We also highly suggest you watch the "Getting Started" and the "Managing Appliances" video tutorials. Once you are set up, please review the tutorial videos located within our Features & Tutorial page.
Upgrading is literally as easy as 1-2-3:
That's It!!

Gear up for exciting news from Kumba Software LLC. Don't save that config yet! DPAA®, the DataPower Administrator's Assistant, now supports Undo! In the object management screen, select any number of modified configurations, popup the menu, and you'll find a new "Undo..." option. But wait, there's more! This is not just any Undo. It will also Undo objects that have been deleted! Try that in DataPower! Oh, it can be done, but not without restarting a domain or reloading or restarting the appliance. If many people are working in the same domains on the same appliances, without this feature, you'd be out of luck without a backup. And what if you need to Undo many objects scattered across many domains and appliances! No problem. Whether you're Undoing one or 100, it's basically the same amount of effort! And, we didn't stop there. You'll also find an "Undo..." option in many of the Status provider popups as well!
In this latest release of DPAA®, the DataPower Administrator's Assistant, we added more features to the delete process. First, DPAA® now provides feedback when dynamically saving new object delete exclusions. We then added the ability to export the selected configurations right from the delete screen. This saves you time if you decide, at that moment, you want to make a quick backup before deleting.
KumbaSoft's® versioning is simple and straightforward. We simply version by the date of the latest release. This lets you know right away how old your version may be. It also means there is only one download at any given time.
We typically put out new versions on a monthly basis. Check out the release notes for what is in the latest download.
NF Releases contain new features and are generally accompanied by videos explaining how to use them. This makes it easy to learn the new features all in one place.
ER Releases contain enhancements to existing features. If the enhancements are significant, they will be accompanied by a video.
IR Releases contain minor updates and fixes.
SB Releases are special builds created between monthly releases when severe problems are encountered by the current release.
