You can approach using this in a couple of ways.
- One, you can put this into its own isolated directory and then follow the standard initialization procedure for general usage of DPAA®. It will support the same license you already have. In this case, there are two shortcuts to setting up appliances.
- The first is to locate the "InitConfig.dat" file located within the "configs" directory of the directory where you currently have DPAA® installed. Then copy that file into the "configs" directory of the directory where you install the below version.
- Another is to use the export with credentials feature of the appliance management screen from your current working copy of DPAA®, and then importing the appliance settings into this version.
- A second approach is to treat this as a normal upgrade and follow the upgrade procedure. However, I would highly recommend making a backup copy of the current DPAA.jar file prior to replacing it with the one contained within the below archive.
